My original intent with Stay Sane was to season my geopolitical commentary with psych tips. These are stressful times. To that end my first five posts comprise an introduction to ‘emotional management.’ I use the practice to:
enable conscious mediation of my emotions to shorten the duration of unpleasant emotions and,
prolong the duration of my positive emotions.
This ability increases the quality of my internal chemistry enhancing the function of all biological systems.
In various positive emotional states, I beam in a generalized manner for the general welfare and,
target particular individuals for ‘distance healing.’
As Stay Sane has evolved I have been inspired to create a separate substack to more directly address myself to the psychological interests and needs of folks. Freudian Psychoanalysis, updated with the best of contemporary science and philosophy, represents the most powerful and useful lens for self improvement. Here is the link to my second substack.
